Device

The BD Twinpak™ Dual Cannula is a truly

universal device that simplifies needleless

IV access. It offers twice the performance

of traditional methods. BD Twinpak™ Dual

Cannula features two cannulas in one

shield: one red-hub, steel cannula for

syringe filling and one clear, blunt plastic

cannula for safe access into a split septum.

Clear-Cath® Catheters

Clear catheter-over-needle with vented flashback chamber for

immediate evidence of vein entry. Continued position in the

vein is verified by flashback through the clear cannula as the

needle is withdrawn, thus reducing the risk of infiltration and

reducing patient discomfort. Ultrasharp tip, electronically

formed, provides consistently low penetration force. Double-

beveled needle eases insertion, reduces tissue trauma and

coring. Catheter tip is uniquely designed to minimize splitting

or curl-back. Lock-in molded catheter/hub connection reduces

the danger of separation. Stripe on catheter is highly

radiopaque. The catheter is Teflon®. Two units per pack, 60

packs per case.
